Clinical research helps find new and better ways to detect, diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. Clinical research is the bedrock of medical breakthroughs and there are controlled processes to make sure that things go as planned, and most importantly ensuring the safety of the medical product which can be a drug or a vaccine among others.
Sadly, in Africa as a whole, the level of clinical research is not comparable to what is obtainable in advanced countries due to a lot of reasons including funding, and lack of trained skilled personnel to manage these trials. It is on the back drop of the second reason that Pharsh Pharma is bringing this training home to Nigeria.
